Your Gold membership gives you an Elite bonus* of 75% more Miles for each flight you take with AIR FRANCE, KLM, our partners Air Europa, Kenya Airways, Aircalin and TAROM as well as our other SkyTeam partners.

More award ticket flights
As a Flying Blue Gold member, you qualify for award tickets that are exclusively reserved for Elite members.
Elite Award
The Elite Award is available on certain flights, for 115% of the Miles usually required for a Classic Award in the same cabin class.
Flex Award
In Business Class and First Class, Flex Awards are only available to Elite members like you. This means that even if there is no award seat available, by simply doubling the Miles required, you will get the seat you want on the flight you want.

Both AIR FRANCE and KLM offer you the chance to enjoy extra space on intercontinental and European flights when you fly Economy Class. With Seat Plus from AIR FRANCE and seats in the Economy Comfort zone on KLM flights, you can make your journey more relaxing by reserving a seat that offers extra comfort. We will make every effort to accommodate your seating preference, but please bear in mind that services are based on availability.

- Choose more comfort on KLM flights
Choose a seat in the Economy Comfort zone on intercontinental flights to enjoy extra legroom and double the seat recline. Flying Blue Gold members benefit from a 50% discount on the price of a seat in the Economy Comfort zone.

- Waitlist priority
If your desired flight and/or cabin class is not available when booking your travel, you have priority status on the reservation waitlist (provided waitlists are accepted on the flight and/or in your desired class of travel).* Please note this service does not apply to award tickets.
- Priority airport standby
As a Flying Blue Gold member, you receive priority status on your flight´s standby list.*
- Priority boarding
Board your flight ahead of the rest by simply presenting your Flying Blue Gold card, giving you more time to find your seat and stow your hand baggage.*
- Priority baggage handling
Your check-in baggage will be given a special baggage tag to show that you are a SkyTeam Elite Plus member, so that your bags are delivered quickly to the baggage-claim area.

Guaranteed seat in Economy Class
You will have a guaranteed seat in Economy Class for full-fare reservations on long-haul flights with AIR FRANCE, KLM or any other SkyTeam airline partner made at least 24 hours in advance. This service does not apply to award tickets or for aircraft with fewer than 100 seats.
Exclusive reservation service
24 hours a day, 7 days a week, our dedicated team is on hand to take care of your flight reservation. Your exclusive reservation service phone number is printed on the back of your Flying Blue Gold card. Please note this service is not for award ticket bookings.
Lounge access
Take time to relax at the airport! Throughout the world, you and your guest enjoy free access to any of our airport lounges. You can also invite extra guests to join you in the lounges on certain international stopovers. Depending on the stopover and lounge availability, the entrance fee per guest (excluding your first guest) varies.* For more information, please

You can check in at priority counters at most airports simply by showing your Flying Blue Gold card. - Elite transfer desks
You can find exclusive Elite transfer desks at Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Amsterdam-Schiphol airports. - Free transfers
Free transfers run between Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Paris-Orly airports on AIR FRANCE coaches.
Extra baggage allowance
You are allowed an additional item of baggage on any SkyTeam flight, with the exception of Korean Air. This item is limited to a maximum weight of:
23 kg* when travelling in Voyageur, Premium Eco, Premium Voyageur or Alizé Class
32 kg* when travelling in Business or First Class
* Except for flights from/to Corsica, on which you benefit from an extra baggage allowance of 5 kg.
Weight concept destinations
If you travel on a flight using the weight concept you are allowed an additional 20 kg of baggage instead. This additional 20 kg baggage allowance is also applicable on Korean Air flights with the weight concept.
Baggage protection
We will protect your baggage with heavy-duty plastic film when you fly long distance from Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport.
